Westerly High School Hosts Chinese Teachers
Five teachers from Fujian Province, China spent three weeks at Westerly High School, where they were paired up with WHS teachers, observed classes and after-school activities, and exchanged education views and practices with their WHS peers. To be fully immersed in American culture, they stayed with host families selected by Westerly Public Schools.  This program marks the first major China education exchange that Westerly Public Schools has embarked on since the establishment of its Confucius Classroom in fall 2013.
